TEE Test
TEE measurement is an endoscopic examination, a method used when the patient’s chest structure (due to lung disease, structural defects, etc.) does not provide echocardiographic images of sufficient quality or when a closer evaluation of intracardiac formations is required. A thin tube is inserted through the mouth into the esophagus to access the posterior neighborhood of the heart and a detailed, very clear image is obtained.
